Our Journey
Our story begins in 2023, when the tequila expertise of David Assa and the passion for the agave fields of Federico Torres came together, firmly believing that through their alliance they could create a distillate of great character and high distinction.
The Creation
With the firm purpose of creating not only an exceptional tequila, but also a piece that emanates character and authenticity in every detail, Master Pedro Friedeberg contributed his creative genius to the complete design of the bottle, its cork, and its stopper. Inspired by Mexican mythology, this work of art completes its distinction with the inclusion of silver in the Blanco Tequila and fully edible 24-karat gold flakes in the Añejo Tequila.
The magic is in the details
- Fist of Freedom: Representing courage, freedom, and strength.
- Quetzalcoatl: An important deity in Mesoamerican cultures, representing the duality between the earthly and the divine. A symbol of wisdom, life, fertility, and knowledge. (Side view of the bottle where the feathered serpent can be seen).
- Mayahuel: The goddess and beloved of Quetzalcoatl, transformed into the sacred maguey plant. Historically, she is credited with the origin of maguey and, in modern understanding, is revered as the Goddess of Agave.
- Synthetic lizard-pattern case, designed to convey superior prestige with a distinctive and singular character.
- Silver: 100% edible in the Blanco Tequila.
- 24k gold: 100% edible in the Añejo Tequila.
